Pastor Grant has dedicated more than four decades to serving God through music and ministry. He came to Christ at a young age while growing up in a Southern Baptist church and felt the call to ministry at just 12 years old—answering that call in his 20s.

He earned a BS in Bible (1996) and a MA in Ministry (2002) from Lancaster Bible College, grounding his ministry in both scripture and practical leadership. For 39 years, Pastor Grant faithfully served at Northwest Baptist Church in Reisterstown, MD, first as a Worship Leader, then as Worship Pastor and Associate Pastor under Rev. Gary Glanville.

Music has always been at the heart of his ministry. Trained in voice, piano, trumpet, guitar, bass guitar, and upright bass, he co-founded and performed in God’s Light Band, a Christian rock group that shared the Gospel through music throughout the 1970s. Over the years, he has attended more than 30 worship conferences and led countless workshops, equipping others to lead with excellence in worship.

Since 2018, Pastor Grant has served as Worship Pastor at Berlin First Baptist Church, where he continues to use his gifts to glorify God and build up His church. Today, he is also launching Worship Solutions, a ministry devoted to helping churches develop and strengthen their worship ministries.

Pastor Grant has been married to his wife, Sharon, since 1970. Sharon is a dedicated elementary school teacher, and together they have been blessed with four children and six grandchildren.
