I met Grant Lauterbach in the Old Temple Baptist Church in Baltimore, Md. Then we found ourselves in the same class in elementary school. I saw him learn the trumpet and studied to play multiple instruments from the piano to the stringed instruments. I was there when he had his first band and later had one of the first Christian Contemporary Bands in Maryland, called “Gods Light”, which opened for Andrae Crouch twice. As a young pastor I asked Grant to be our worship leader. For 37 years of my pastorate at NW Baptist Pastor Grant Lauterbach led our worship for the Lord. He has so much to share of his experience of being a worship leader.
